Journey Through Time is the historical re-enactment that every year, on a Sunday in September, brings the Parco Giardino Sigurtà in Valeggio sul Mincio back to the noble atmospheres of the 19th century. For an entire day, ladies, gentlemen, romantic luncheons on the grass, ancient dances, and majestic carriages populate the park, creating an immersive 360-degree experience.
Carriages, Dances, and Costumed Figures
The protagonists of the event are the vintage carriages pulled by elegant horses, created in collaboration with GIA (Gruppo Italiano Attacchi), and the 19th-century dances curated by Danze '800 Verona. Hundreds of costumed figures, evocative scenography, exhibitions of historical vehicles, and themed activities complete a day that combines culture, entertainment, and natural beauty.

The event takes place in the extraordinary setting of Parco Giardino Sigurtà, in the province of Verona, recognized as one of the most beautiful gardens in Europe, spread over 60 hectares a stone's throw from Lake Garda and the village of Valeggio sul Mincio. Over the years, Journey Through Time has become one of the park's flagship events, attracting thousands of visitors and enthusiasts.

The 11th edition of Journey Through Time will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at Parco Giardino Sigurtà in Valeggio sul Mincio. For an entire day, the park returns to the 19th century, with an immersive experience of carriages, dances, ladies, and gentlemen.
Among the highlights are the vintage carriages pulled by elegant horses in collaboration with GIA (Gruppo Italiano Attacchi), the 19th-century dances organized by Danze '800 Verona, evocative scenography, themed activities, and exhibitions of historical vehicles, with the presence of numerous costumed figures. Those who arrive in period attire will have access to the park at the special rate of €5.00.

Parco Giardino Sigurtà is located at Via Cavour 1 in Valeggio sul Mincio, reachable by car from the A4 (Peschiera del Garda exit) or A22 (Affi/Mantova Nord exit). Ample parking available.
