A Traveling Review
The concerts are held in some of the most charming locations on the Riviera del Brenta: the Campiello of Villa Widmann, the gardens of Villa dei Leoni, Villa Levi Morenos, the Piazzetta sull'acqua in Malcontenta, and other spaces scattered between Mira and Dolo. The festival has a strong territorial focus, celebrating the heritage of the Venetian summer residences through music.
Masters and New Generations
Organized by the Thelonious Monk Music School together with the Keptorchestra, JAM blends the names of Italian jazz with projects by young musicians trained locally. Featuring evenings with great soloists, jam sessions, and tributes to Thelonious Monk, the festival has become a reference point for jazz enthusiasts in the Veneto region, successfully combining high musical quality with free, open access for the public.

The JAM – Jazz A Mira 2026 festival offers 8 evenings of concerts from May 30 to July 5, spread across the villas and historic sites of the Riviera del Brenta. The festival, organized by the Thelonious Monk Music School and the Keptorchestra, reaffirms its formula of diffused, free jazz, with booking recommended.
The program alternates concerts by established Italian jazz masters—from Pietro Tonolo and Paolo Birro to Francesco Bearzatti—with projects by younger musicians and the traditional Monk Night evenings dedicated to Thelonious Monk. The concerts will take place at Villa Widmann, Villa dei Leoni, Villa Levi Morenos, the Piazzetta sull'acqua in Malcontenta, and other venues between Mira and Dolo.
