The big bike celebration at Misano World Circuit
In just a few years, the Italian Bike Festival has become the premier Italian event dedicated to the entire universe of cycling: from road bikes to mountain bikes, from gravel to e-bikes, as well as cycle tourism and sustainable mobility. Since 2018, the event has been held at the Misano World Circuit "Marco Simoncelli" in Misano Adriatico, in the heart of the Romagna Riviera in the province of Rimini, a symbolic location in the Motor Valley of Emilia-Romagna where the passion for two wheels meets the adrenaline of the track.
With over 80,000 square meters of exhibition space and more than 600 brands present, the Italian Bike Festival is one of the largest outdoor cycling fairs on a continental level. The "open air" format is the heart of the event: no closed pavilions, but a large open space to test bikes, discover new products in preview, and experience direct contact between companies, retailers, the press, and the end consumer. The 2025 edition saw over 63,000 entries, with exhibitors from 18 countries (including China and the United States) and over 5% foreign visitors, confirming the event's increasingly international focus.
The core of the experience is the opportunity to test bicycles directly on the circuits set up for the occasion: the Yamaha Off-Road Arena, with an approximately 2 km MTB course featuring artificial and natural obstacles, and the Campagnolo Road Circuit, a 4.2 km loop for testing road bikes. In addition, there are competitions from La Gialla Cycling, the festival's sports hub, which offers a road granfondo, cycle tourism tours for road and gravel bikes, and races for younger participants and beginners.
In addition to the exhibition and sports components, the Italian Bike Festival hosts a rich program of talks, round tables, and workshops dedicated to cycling mobility, cycle tourism, and sustainability, featuring champions, technicians, and industry leaders. The event is organized by Movestro, a company within the Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) group, with the support of APT Servizi Emilia-Romagna.
Being held at the end of summer on the Rimini Riviera allows you to combine the passion for cycling with a seaside vacation: Misano Adriatico and the nearby towns of Riccione, Cattolica, and Rimini offer beaches, hospitality, and a hilly hinterland ideal for cycling. The Italian Bike Festival is thus much more than a fair: it is the great end-of-season celebration for the Italian and European cycling community.
The 2026 edition of the Italian Bike Festival, the ninth in the event's history, will take place from September 4 to 6, 2026, at the Misano World Circuit in Misano Adriatico (RN). The outdoor format is confirmed with over 600 brands, on-track test areas (Yamaha Off-Road Arena for MTB and Campagnolo Road Circuit for road cycling), and the La Gialla Cycling competitions. The 2026 edition also coincides with Velo-City, the global cycling summit, which returns to Italy after 25 years at the Rimini Congress Center, strengthening the link between the festival and the Romagna Riviera as a European cycling capital.
Opening of the exhibition area with over 600 brands in the sector. Start of bike tests on the Yamaha Off-Road Arena (approx. 2 km MTB course) and the Campagnolo Road Circuit (4.2 km road loop). First talks and round tables on sustainable mobility and cycle tourism.
Main day with full swing of exhibition activities, preview product tests, and the La Gialla Cycling program: road granfondo, cycle tourism tours for road and gravel bikes, and races for young people and beginners.
Final day with tests, concluding races, and meetings with industry leaders.
The detailed day-by-day program, including times, guests, and race regulations, will be published on the official website in the weeks preceding the event.
