Interno Verde is the widespread festival dedicated to the secret gardens and courtyards of Verona: for an entire weekend, dozens of private green oases, usually closed, open their doors to visitors. A journey through hedges, ancient trees, fountains, and hidden corners that tell the story and hidden beauty of the city.
Not just visits
In addition to discovering the gardens, the program offers workshops for adults and children, thematic itineraries, presentations, exhibitions, artistic installations, performances, and live music. A map and a fabric wristband serve as a pass for the entire event, allowing you to create your own route among the various oases.
A festival that spans Italy
Interno Verde is a widespread event that involves several Italian cities, from Piacenza to Mantua, but in Verona, in Veneto, it finds one of its most fascinating stops, capable of attracting thousands of visitors among nature, history, and architecture enthusiasts.

The event is promoted by the association Giardini Aperti Verona, in collaboration with Interno Verde and with the support of city institutions and the University of Verona, testifying to the cultural and environmental value of this hidden green heritage.
Interno Verde — edition 2026
The 6th edition of Interno Verde took place on Saturday, May 23rd and Sunday, May 24th, 2026, opening 45 green oases among the most evocative and curious gardens and courtyards of Verona to the public. The program included guided tours, snacks under the trees, workshops for adults and children, thematic itineraries, presentations, exhibitions, artistic installations, performances, and live music. An interactive map and bicycle tours accompanied visitors in discovering the city's hidden green heritage.

How to get there
The gardens are located in the historic center of Verona, reachable on foot or by bicycle. The information point opens in the days preceding the event at Spazio Vitale, in Via San Vitale 5.
Tickets
Admission 15 euros, reduced 11 euros for those who register online in advance; free for children. Registration is valid for both days.
When
The festival is held on a weekend at the end of May (Saturday and Sunday).
