International Street Food is one of the most popular travelling events dedicated to street food in Italy, and at each stop, it transforms city squares into a large gastronomic village. In Ancona, in the heart of the Marche region, the event takes place in Piazza Sandro Pertini, where dozens of selected food trucks and stands offer dishes from five continents.

Flavours from Five Continents

The festival is a true map of taste: among the specialities you can sample are pulled pork, Puglian bombette, arrosticini, Neapolitan pizza and fried pizza, paella, smash burgers, Ascolane olives, Sicilian specialities, and tastes of Argentinian, Greek, Indian, and Thai cuisine. To complete the offering, there are Italian and international craft beers, perfect for pairing with the dishes on this tantalizing gastronomic journey.

A National Circuit

The event is conceived and organized by A.I.R.S. - Associazione Italiana Ristoratori di Strada (Italian Association of Street Restaurateurs), chaired by Alfredo Orofino, in collaboration with Confartigianato Imprese Ancona - Pesaro - Urbino. The Ancona stop is part of a long tour that travels across Italy throughout the year, helping to promote the culture of quality street food and enhance the historic centres that host it.

Entry to the area is completely free, and the atmosphere is convivial and informal, typical of town square festivals.
