A singing competition in the heart of Valconca

InCanto Festival is the national singing competition that enlivens Morciano di Romagna, in the province of Rimini, every summer in the heart of Valconca. Created and organized by the Hall of Music association, the local music and singing school, the festival is produced with the participation and contribution of the Municipality of Morciano di Romagna and has become one of the most anticipated events of the Morciano Estate Insieme festival series.

The springboard to Area Sanremo

What sets InCanto Festival apart from many other singing competitions in Italy is its affiliation with Area Sanremo, the only official competition that brings young talents to the stage of the Sanremo Festival. Thanks to this collaboration, the Morciano competition guarantees its participants direct access to the national semifinals and regional and interregional finals of the Area Sanremo Tour: for many emerging singers, performing on the Piazza del Popolo stage means taking a concrete step towards great Italian pop music.

The Silvano Soprani Prize

The event awards the Silvano Soprani Prize, an award that gives the competition a name and identity and has crowned numerous voices from the emerging scene over the years. The competition is open to both solo artists and vocal groups and aims to promote new interpreters of Italian song, accompanying them on a journey from local selection to major national circuits.
