Impressionism Arrives in Molise

The exhibition "Impressionism. Origin and Journey of a Vision" brings masterpieces of one of the most beloved periods in art history to Campobasso, the capital of Molise. The exhibition, held at Palazzo ex GIL, traces the birth and development of the Impressionist movement, from the second half of the 19th century to the early 20th century.

Masters on Display

Works by great names such as Monet, Manet, Courbet, Boudin, Renoir, De Nittis, Toulouse-Lautrec, Degas, Bonnard, and Sisley are on display. A special section is dedicated to the centenary of Claude Monet's death, with an installation that evokes, through a curved wall, the famous Water Lilies exhibition in Paris, accompanied by a timeline and biographical photographs from Giverny.

An Exhibition of National Importance

Organized by the Fondazione Molise Cultura, with the patronage of the Ministry of Tourism and the Molise Region, the exhibition represents one of the most important cultural events of the winter in the Province of Campobasso, capable of bringing internationally renowned artistic heritage to the region.
