In the Municipality of Rovato, in the province of Brescia, there is a festival that uses sport to build bridges: the Icaro Sport Festival. Three days dedicated to sport and solidarity, with the aim of supporting inclusive sport projects for people with disabilities, enhancing accessibility and integration through movement.

The event is organized by Icaro Sport Disabili in collaboration with Venus Triathlon Academy, under the patronage of the Municipality of Rovato. All proceeds are donated to the projects of Icaro Sport Disabili, which promotes sport as a tool for inclusion.

The Run for Icaro

The highlight of the festival is the Run for Icaro, a non-competitive race of about 6.5 kilometers, flat and open to all. The route winds through Rovato and Erbusco, along the scenic Monte Orfano, with an evening start from the Foro Boario. A race designed to be accessible to anyone, where the important thing is not the stopwatch but participation and support for the cause.
