About I tell you Isernia

«I tell you Isernia» is the series of guided tours that accompanies residents and tourists to discover the city through prehistory, art, architecture and food and wine traditions. From the National Museum of the Palaeolithic to the Cathedral, from the church of the Three Saints to the alleys of the historic center, each event combines a cultural itinerary with a tasting of typical products, including the summer «Vicoli e Calici» (Alleys and Glasses).

A Story of the City

«I tell you Isernia» is a series of guided tours with tasting that offers a journey through the prehistory, art, architecture, and food and wine traditions of Isernia, the capital of the Molise province of the same name. The events, spread throughout the year, accompany participants in discovering the city's symbolic places.

The Places on the Itinerary

Among the usual stops are the National Museum of the Palaeolithic — which houses evidence of one of the oldest human settlements in Europe — the Cathedral, the church of the Three Saints, and the alleys of the historic center. Each tour is enriched by food and wine tastings of typical products, transforming the cultural journey into a complete sensory experience.

Alleys and Glasses

In its summer version, the series is called «I tell you Isernia between Alleys and Glasses»: an itinerary in the heart of the historic center that combines storytelling, heritage discovery, and tastings of local wines and specialties. The initiative is promoted by the Tourist Info Point, Me.Mo Cantieri Culturali, and IsArc, in collaboration with the Diocese of Isernia-Venafro.

I tell you Isernia — edition 2026

In 2026, «I tell you Isernia» offers a winter-spring series of guided tours with tasting (February, with stops at the National Museum of the Palaeolithic, the Cathedral, and the historic center) and the summer event «Alleys and Glasses» on June 13th.

The 2026 edition of «I tell you Isernia» unfolds over several events. The February series alternates guided tours of the city's symbolic places, with February 22nd combining the historic center with a food and wine tasting. In the summer, on June 13th, the «I tell you Isernia between Alleys and Glasses» event returns, dedicated to exploring the historic center with tastings of wines and typical products.
