A large open-air tavern
Hostaria is the Festival of Wine and the Grape Harvest in Verona, created to offer the unique experience of a large, widespread tavern in the city's historic centre. For three days, Verona's monumental squares and courtyards fill with tasting stands, glasses, and stories about wine.
The route through the squares
The event winds through five main areas of the centre: Via Roma and Piazza Bra with its gardens, the Cortile Mercato Vecchio, the Cortile del Tribunale, Piazza dei Signori with its loggias, and the Gardens of Piazza Indipendenza. The main entrances are in Piazza Bra and Piazza dei Signori.
Wine, gastronomy, and culture
Hundreds of labels from wineries and protection consortia guide visitors on a food and wine journey that celebrates the great Veronese and Venetian wines. The programme includes conferences, guests, live music, and moments dedicated to the culture of responsible drinking.

The 2026 edition of Hostaria — Festival del Vino e della Vendemmia takes place from October 16 to 18, 2026, in the historic centre of Verona. The route covers the five main areas of the event: Via Roma and Piazza Bra, Cortile Mercato Vecchio, Piazza dei Signori and its loggias, Cortile del Tribunale, and the Gardens of Piazza Indipendenza. Hundreds of labels from wineries and protection consortia animate the tastings, accompanied by conferences, guests, music, and moments dedicated to the culture of conscious drinking.
