The Festa Grande di Santa Viola
Among the summer festivals of the Veronese foothills, the Festa Grande di Santa Viola in Grezzana holds a special place. It takes place at the Forte Santa Viola, in Via Santa Viola 1, and offers ten days of celebration around Ferragosto, with the motto that has accompanied it since its foundation: solidarity, entertainment, catering, spectacle.
A tradition born in 1974
The festival has its roots in 1974 and has since grown to become one of the most attended events of the summer in the province of Verona. Behind the organization is the work of volunteers and the association that, year after year, sets up the stands and builds the evening program.
Themed evenings and live music
The heart of the festival is the themed evenings: '90s and 2000s revivals, tributes to Italian bands, dance and techno nights, Holi-style color parties, and lots of live music. Each evening has its own identity, with a program that changes daily and culminates on the weekend and Ferragosto.
For the whole family
Alongside the evening shows, the festival offers entertainment for children and baby dance, the traditional footrace on Ferragosto morning, and moments dedicated to families. The food stands are always open in the evening and, on Sundays and Ferragosto, also at lunchtime, with traditional Venetian dishes.
Grezzana, gateway to Lessinia
Grezzana, in Valpantena, is the gateway to the Veronese Lessinia. The Festa di Santa Viola is an opportunity to experience the town on warm August evenings, with good food, music, and the convivial atmosphere of a great community festival.
Festa di Santa Viola — edition 2026
The Festa Grande di Santa Viola 2026 returns from August 8th to 17th at Forte Santa Viola in Grezzana, Via Santa Viola 1. Ten days of celebration around Ferragosto, with food stands open every evening from 7:00 PM and, on Sundays and Ferragosto, also at lunchtime. The evening program alternates themed nights, musical tributes, dance nights, and moments dedicated to the little ones with baby dance. The traditional footrace is scheduled for Ferragosto morning. The 2026 dates are confirmed by the official event calendar of the Municipality of Grezzana.

August 8-17, 2026 — Ten days of celebration
The food stands are open every evening from 7:00 PM; on Sundays and Ferragosto also at lunchtime from 12:00 PM. The detailed program for each evening will be announced by the organization in the weeks leading up to the festival.
The festival offers, following the established structure of recent editions:
