A miniature world
Hobby Model Expo is the most important Italian fair dedicated to modelling. It takes place at the Novegro Exhibition Centre, in the Municipality of Segrate, in the Province of Milan, and has been a regular fixture on enthusiasts' calendars since 1978.
All facets of modelling
The fair covers all modelling disciplines:
- railway, with large layouts and new modules;
- aircraft and naval;
- military and static;
- automotive and all types of scale models.
Not just an exhibition
In addition to stands from Italian and international exhibitors, Hobby Model Expo offers live demonstrations, workshops, and dioramas, where you can admire the craftsmanship and patience behind each model. It's the ideal opportunity to purchase materials, discover the latest industry innovations, and connect with modelling masters.
For everyone
The event occupies the large pavilions of the Novegro exhibition centre and attracts visitors from all over Lombardy and Italy: collectors, expert modellers, but also families and children fascinated by the miniature world.
Hobby Model Expo — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of Hobby Model Expo takes place from Friday, September 25 to Sunday, September 27 at the Novegro Exhibition Centre in Segrate. The fair, a reference point for Italian modelling since 1978, occupies pavilions A, B, C, D, and the outdoor area, open from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM on all three days, with admission around €10.
