Half a Century Behind the Lens
The Basilica Palladiana in Vicenza, a masterpiece by Andrea Palladio, hosts the major retrospective "Guido Harari. Encounters. 50 Years of Photographs and Stories." The exhibition retraces the career of one of Italy's most important photographers, author of some of the most iconic portraits of international music and entertainment.
An Immersive Journey
The exhibition path brings together over 300 photographs, accompanied by installations, original films, screenings, posters, and memorabilia. The audioguide, included in the ticket, accompanies the visitor with Harari's own voice, recounting the encounters and anecdotes behind each shot, from the seventies to his most recent works.
Exhibitions in the Basilica
The exhibition is organized by the Municipality of Vicenza and the Civic Museums, in collaboration with Rjma progetti culturali and Wall of Sound Gallery, as part of the "Mostre in Basilica" program that brings major exhibitions to the heart of the historic center of Vicenza, in Veneto.

From March 27 to July 26, 2026, the Basilica Palladiana in Vicenza hosts "Guido Harari. Encounters. 50 Years of Photographs and Stories." The exhibition features over 300 photographs, installations, original films, screenings, posters, and memorabilia spanning half a century of the photographer's career, from the seventies to the present day.

How to Get There
The Basilica Palladiana is located in Piazza dei Signori, in the historic center of Vicenza, a few minutes from the train station. By car, take the A4 motorway exits Vicenza Est/Ovest.
Opening Hours
Tuesday-Sunday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM (closed Mondays), last admission 30 minutes before closing. Special openings and extended hours on special occasions.
Tickets
Full price €12; reduced price €10; family €10 adult + €5 per child (6-14 years); free for children under 6 and for disabled visitors with a companion. Combined ticket exhibition + monument €15. Audioguide included.
