Grilled Meat Festival 2025: the 12th edition

The 12th edition of the Grilled Meat Festival - Aromas and Flavors of the Murgia Hills was held from July 25 to 27, 2025, in Santeramo in Colle, in the province of Bari. The gastronomic festival was presented at a press conference on Monday, July 21, in the Council Chamber of the Municipal Palace.

The heart of the event was the six butchers and processing workshops of the town, the true stars of the festival, including Macelleria Mimmo & Valeria and Caseificio Macelleria Nuzzi & Fiorentino, with their charcoal-grilled meat and Murgia specialties. For 2025, the festival area was expanded to Via Roma, involving new businesses in the center such as Servus Birreria and Osteria Santa Lucia.

The event, with free admission, was organized by the Pro Loco "G. Tritto" APS UNPLI together with the Santeramo delegation of Confcommercio Bari and the IAT office, with the support of the Alta Murgia National Park and the GAL Terre di Murgia. With lit grills, food stalls, live music, and a funfair, the festival enlivened the historic center of Santeramo for three days.
