About The Classicissima Granfondo

The day after the professional Milan-Sanremo, amateur cyclists have their festival with the Granfondo Sanremo-Sanremo 'La Classicissima': a route along the Riviera dei Fiori that crosses the legendary climbs of Cipressa and Poggio di Sanremo. Start and finish in the city of flowers for a ride that allows everyone, from 18 to 75 years old, to experience the thrill of cycling's legendary climbs.

The Riviera dei Fiori Granfondo

The Granfondo Sanremo-Sanremo 'La Classicissima' is the cycling event that takes place in Sanremo (province of Imperia) the day after the professional Milan-Sanremo race. Starting from Lungomare Salvo d'Acquisto, the route winds along the Riviera dei Fiori and retraces the final sections of the classic race, including the climbs of Cipressa and Poggio.

Legendary Climbs Within Everyone's Reach

The granfondo is open to amateur cyclists aged 18 to 75 and allows participants to tackle the same climbs that decide the professional race, in a spectacular landscape between the sea and hills. It's an opportunity to test yourself against cycling history, on roads made famous by decades of the Milan-Sanremo.

A Weekend of Great Cycling

Together with the professional race and other granfondo events, 'La Classicissima' makes Sanremo the capital of spring cycling. A weekend that transforms the Riviera dei Fiori into a grand stage for two-wheel enthusiasts, professionals and amateurs alike.
