Edition 2025 — Goat Meat and Musciska Festival
The 2025 edition marked the 43rd Goat Meat Festival and the 34th Musciska Festival, confirming the event as the longest-running gastronomic celebration in the Gargano. On Sunday, August 10, 2025, starting at 7:30 PM, Largo Portagrande came alive with stalls set up by the Pro Loco of Rignano Garganico: the stars were the Gargano goat meat cooked according to the ancient "ad acqua e sale" recipe and grilled musciska, accompanied by homemade bread and local cheeses. The soundtrack for the evening was provided by the Ciro Iannacone Acoustic Trio, performing a mix of traditional and modern repertoire, while workshops and exhibitions showcased the rural civilization of the promontory.
