About Oratory Carnival

The Oratory Carnival is the grand masked parade that, every year, colors the streets of Giussano. Organized by the oratory of the San Paolo Pastoral Community, it brings together children, teenagers, and families in a cheerful and festive procession, with a different theme each year. From the start to the return to the oratory, amidst confetti and costumes, the parade crosses the town center to conclude with awards for the most beautiful costumes, a party, and a snack. A simple and joyful event that involves the entire community in the carefree spirit of Carnival.

The Children's Carnival

The Oratory Carnival is one of the most beloved events for children in Giussano, a municipality in the province of Monza and Brianza. Organized by the oratory of the San Paolo Pastoral Community, it offers a themed masked parade every year, transforming the town's streets into a cheerful procession of colors and costumes.

The Parade Through the Town Streets

The masked procession starts in the early afternoon from the oratory and crosses the center of Giussano along a route that covers the main city streets and squares, from Via D'Azeglio to Piazza San Giacomo, from Piazza Roma to Piazza Repubblica, before returning to the oratory. Children and families parade with their themed costumes, in an atmosphere of celebration and lightheartedness.

Awards and Snacks

At the end of the parade, the oratory welcomes everyone for the awards for the most creative costumes, followed by a party and snacks. It's the convivial moment that concludes the day, strengthening the sense of community that animates every edition of the Giussano Carnival.
