About Girogiocando
The City of Children
Girogiocando transforms the historic center of Foligno, in the province of Perugia, into a large space for play and social interaction dedicated to children and families for two days. The main squares and streets are filled with stations for playing, learning, and having fun.
Dozens of Free Activities
The program includes over forty events spread throughout the center: creative and cooking workshops, sports activities (fencing, archery, cycling, climbing, orienteering), traditional and board games, theater and entertainment shows, play areas, and educational sessions on road safety. The mascot Vus Com accompanies visitors throughout the event.
A City Project
The event is organized by Confcommercio Foligno in collaboration with the Municipality of Foligno and involves local associations, volunteers, businesses, artists, and entertainers. The goal is to promote the historic center as a meeting place for families and a space for community growth.
The success is evidenced by the sold-out status in recent editions, with visitors from all over the region.
Girogiocando — edition 2026
The fourth edition of Girogiocando confirmed the event's great popularity: all the squares in the center were sold out, with families and visitors arriving from all over the region.
Over forty events filled the streets and squares: creative and cooking workshops, theater performances, sports activities, play areas, and educational moments. The event, organized by Confcommercio Foligno, involved local associations, volunteers, businesses, artists, and entertainers, confirming itself as a concrete opportunity for community building and the enhancement of the historic center.

How to Get There
Foligno is well-connected by train (Rome-Ancona and Rome-Florence lines) and by car (SS75 and SS3 Flaminia). Activities take place in the squares and streets of the historic center.
