About Freequency

Freequency is the showcase that brings some of the most interesting realities of new European music to the stage of Santeria Toscana 31 in Milan. A small festival that gives space to emerging artists — those with talent but who haven't yet achieved major fame — offering the public the chance to discover something different from the usual. Indie, experimentation, and rising European voices, in evenings with free admission by reservation, in the heart of Milan's alternative scene.

New European Music in Milan

Freequency — Music Free from Borders is a music showcase held at Santeria Toscana 31, in viale Toscana 31 (Municipality 5), one of the main venues of Milan's alternative cultural and musical scene. The initiative is dedicated to new European music and features some of the most interesting emerging acts on the continent.

Space for Emerging Artists

Freequency's philosophy is clear: give space to those with talent but who haven't yet achieved major fame. The showcase is part of a broader European project that helps venues promote rising artists and offers the public the chance to discover acts outside the most popular circuits. It's an opportunity to hear voices and projects that could become protagonists of the music scene in the coming years.

An International Line-up

The program alternates Italian and international artists from the indie and experimental scene. Among the names announced for the 2026 event are Marte, Prima Alba, Victoria Maria, Aõ, Niels Orens, and You Nico, in an evening that spans different genres and sensibilities, united by research and quality.

Music Free from Borders

The subtitle — Music Free from Borders — encapsulates the spirit of the showcase: music that transcends geographical and genre boundaries, building a bridge between the emerging scenes of different European cities. With its free admission (by reservation), Freequency is a valuable event for enthusiasts and for those who want to keep up with the newest trends in European music, within the vibrant context of Santeria in Milan.
