Edition 2025 — Forni & Fornai•e
Forni & Fornai•e is a biennial festival: in 2025, there was no new edition, during the break year between the fourth edition (Bologna and Monghidoro, June 1-2, 2024) and the fifth (Monghidoro, May 23-24, 2026). However, the Slow Food Community of the High Apennine Grain continued its work in the fields and with the region's bakers throughout the year.
Forni & Fornai•e — a biennial festival
Forni & Fornai•e follows a biennial rhythm: 2025 was a break year between the fourth edition, hosted for the first time between Bologna and Monghidoro on June 1 and 2, 2024, and the fifth edition on May 23-24, 2026. During the intermediate year, the Slow Food Community of the High Apennine Grain continued to manage the recovery of traditional grains, the 30 experimental plots, and the network of bakers in the Bologna Apennines, awaiting the new event in Monghidoro.
