The spring festival of Fornase
The Fornase Neighbourhood Festival is the spring celebration of the Fornase hamlet in Spinea, in the province of Venice. Organized by the Fornase Insieme Association, it spans two weeks between late April and early May, with a food stand open every evening from 7 PM and a rich program of music, shows, and activities for all ages.
Two weeks, two specialties
The festival has two culinary focuses: the first week is dedicated to barbecue, the second to fried fish and cod. The stand is open from 7 PM and, on holidays, also for lunch, offering a gathering opportunity for the neighbourhood and for all of Spinea.
Music, comedy, and engines
The schedule alternates country music nights with DJs, comedy shows, live concerts, and tributes (from Italian music to Pink Floyd), rallies of vintage cars and motorcycles, old-fashioned games, chess tournaments, and community lunches. A program that makes the Fornase festival a small neighbourhood festival, capable of attracting audiences from all over the city.
A community celebration
Born from the will of the neighbourhood's residents, the Fornase Festival is above all a moment for the community: an opportunity to come together around food and music, strengthening the sense of belonging to the hamlet of Spinea (province of Venice).

The Fornase Neighbourhood Festival 2026 enlivens the Fornase hamlet of Spinea (province of Venice) from April 23 to May 4, over two weeks. Food stand open every evening from 7 PM (and for lunch on holidays), featuring barbecue in the first week and fried fish and cod in the second. Organized by the Fornase Insieme Association.

First week — barbecue specialty
- Thursday, April 23 — Country night with DJ Eros and Flavio
- Friday, April 24 — Comedy show "In casa di riposo show"
- Saturday, April 25 — 9:30 AM vintage car and motorcycle rally; 12:00 PM community lunch; 2:30 PM old-fashioned games; 9:00 PM live music with Beat Generation 69
Second week — fried fish and cod specialty
- Thursday, April 30 — Cuban night with live music
- Friday, May 1 — Tribute to Italian music
- Saturday, May 2 — 2:30 PM chess tournament; 9:00 PM show
- Sunday, May 3 — 10:30 AM mass; 12:30 PM May lunch; 9:00 PM tribute concert to Pink Floyd

How to get there
The Fornase neighbourhood is located in Spinea, in the province of Venice, west of Mestre. By car from the SR11; by train at Spinea station on the Venice–Padua line.
