A three-day international yoga, meditation, and music festival at the Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa in Palermo
The Flow Yoga Fest – Unity in Diversity is an international event dedicated to yoga, wellness, and personal growth held in Palermo, in the heart of Sicily, within the historic Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa on Via Paolo Gili. Coinciding with the International Day of Yoga on June 21st, the event transforms this former industrial complex into a vast space for shared practice, bringing together teachers, practitioners, and enthusiasts from across the globe.
The festival was born from the vision of Giuseppe La Barbera and Rosbri Sanfilippo, founders of the Flow Practice Studio on Viale della Croce Rossa, alongside British teacher Dav Jones. The goal is to create a space for meeting and sharing, open to practitioners of all levels, where this ancient discipline—combining physical movement, breathing techniques, and meditation—becomes an opportunity for unity in diversity, as the festival's subtitle suggests.
The stage of the Flow Yoga Fest features some of the most respected names in the global yoga scene. Instructors include Dylan Werner, celebrated for his strength and handstand practice, dancer and teacher Ambra Vallo, Dav Jones, Rosbri Sanfilippo, Giuseppe La Barbera, and Samuele D'Alcantari. Classes span various styles and approaches, offering participants a rich and diverse landscape.
The three-day event offers a comprehensive path that weaves together physical and spiritual practices:
Activities are spread across the various areas of the Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa: Spazio Zero, Piazza Fabrizio De André, the garden, and Spazio NOZ. The setting of the former factory, now a cultural hub for the City of Palermo, offers a unique atmosphere that blends industrial archaeology, urban greenery, and contemporary creativity.
With its first edition in 2026, the Flow Yoga Fest aims to make Palermo a landmark for wellness and yoga in Southern Italy and the Mediterranean, while highlighting one of the most fascinating locations in the Sicilian capital. The festival celebrates yoga as an experience of mindfulness, community, and peace, in perfect harmony with the spirit of the International Day of Yoga.
The first edition of the Flow Yoga Fest brought the Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa in Palermo to life from June 20 to 22, 2026. The program intertwined asanas, pranayama, handstand practice, meditation, bhakti yoga, shamanic practices, medicine songs, and holistic treatments.
