Flavors of Sardinia in Solaro
Flavors of Sardinia is the festival that brings the aromas and traditions of the island to Solaro, a municipality in the Metropolitan City of Milan, every early summer. The event opens the calendar of Summer Festivals that animate the equipped area of the sports center on Corso Berlinguer, and is curated by the Grazia Deledda Sardinian Club, one of the many associations that preserve the identity of Sardinian emigrant communities in Lombardy.
Sardinia on the Table
The heart of the festival is its gastronomy. The stands offer the great classics of the island's cuisine: porceddu (roast suckling pig), malloreddus (Sardinian gnocchi), sheep and cheese specialties, and desserts like seadas. Each dish tells the story of a land and a culture, accompanied by Sardinian wines and a convivial atmosphere that attracts many visitors from the Saronno area.

Beyond the food, Flavors of Sardinia offers moments of music and culture linked to island traditions, in a festive atmosphere that brings together Solaro's Sardinian community and many curious locals. It's a way to discover a rich and vibrant identity heritage, far from the sea but close to the hearts of those who carry it with them.
The Start of Solaro's Summer
Taking place in early June, Flavors of Sardinia launches the long season of festivals that characterizes Solaro's summer in Lombardy, continuing until mid-July with food festivals, patronal feasts, and white nights.
Flavors of Sardinia — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of Flavors of Sardinia inaugurates the Summer Festivals calendar for Solaro, from June 4 to 7. The stands of the Grazia Deledda Sardinian Club offer the iconic dishes of island cuisine — porceddu, malloreddus, cheeses, and seadas — accompanied by Sardinian wines and musical and cultural moments at the sports center on Corso Berlinguer.
