Half a century of spring agricultural fair in the Cremona area
FieraGrumello is the spring agricultural fair that animates Grumello Cremonese ed Uniti every year, a rural municipality in the province of Cremona. Founded in 1976 on the initiative of the then mayor, the event has reached an important milestone and continues to be a highly anticipated appointment for the entire area, capable of combining the celebration of agriculture and Made in Italy with community festivities.
The heart of the fair is the exhibition of agricultural machinery, with historic tractors alongside the most modern models, showcasing the evolution of work in the fields. Alongside this, the agricultural market, food stalls, street food, and live music. There are also exhibitions: from terracotta busts by artist Angelo Cauzzi to a photographic exhibition retracing the history of the fair, from memories of rural life of the past to contemporary artworks.
A solemn moment of the event is the awarding of the Agrumello Prize, an award given to individuals and organizations that have distinguished themselves for the territory. The week preceding the fair also hosts technical and scientific conferences related to the agricultural world, promoted by ANGA Cremona, Coldiretti Cremona, and the prevention department of ATS Valpadana: proof that FieraGrumello is not just a celebration, but also an opportunity for discussion on the future of Po Valley agriculture.
With a funfair, musical evenings, street food, and DJ sets, FieraGrumello is a celebration that involves all generations, keeping alive the bond between Grumello Cremonese, its people, and the land that has always been its foundation.
The 50th edition of FieraGrumello celebrates half a century of history on April 11 and 12, 2026. The week leading up to the event hosts technical and scientific conferences promoted by ANGA Cremona, Coldiretti Cremona, and ATS Valpadana. On Friday, the funfair opens and the street food area begins; Saturday afternoon is dedicated to music with the band I Barabba Gulasch, followed by dinner in the street food area with Noimond and a DJ set by Lukito Deejay; Sunday morning features the official opening ceremony with the awarding of the 2026 Agrumello Prizes (to Agropolis, Banca di Credito Cooperativo del Cremonese, Palmiro Fanti, and Mario Silla). Four exhibitions are set up: terracotta busts by Angelo Cauzzi, a photographic exhibition on the 50 years of FieraGrumello, "Memories of a Time Gone By" with photos of rural life by Giuseppe Geroli, and works by Isabella Lauritano.
The 50th anniversary of the fair, the exhibition of historic tractors, the awarding of the 2026 Agrumello Prizes, and the four exhibitions dedicated to the history and rural life of the area.
Grumello Cremonese ed Uniti is located in the Cremona plain, along the SS415 Paullese road, between Cremona and Crema. The fair takes place in the town center, with Piazza Leonardo Da Vinci as the main reference point.
Spring agricultural fair, held over two days (Saturday and Sunday) in April.
