About The Beaches of Italy

Every spring, Jesolo hosts 'The Beaches of Italy', an international festival of folk dance and song that brings together ensembles from all over the world. A non-competitive event celebrating global culture through music, dance, and art: dance groups, choirs, majorettes, and formations from numerous countries perform on the open-air stage in Piazza Aurora, in an atmosphere of exchange, tolerance, and celebration. A showcase of the world's colours and traditions on the Venetian coast.

The World Meets in Jesolo

Every year, in spring, the shore of Jesolo becomes a crossroads of cultures thanks to the international festival 'The Beaches of Italy', dedicated to folk dance and song. Hundreds of artists from all over the world choose the coast of the province of Venice to perform and share the traditions of their countries, in an event that has been uniting different peoples and languages for over twenty years.

A Non-Competitive Festival

The festival's philosophy is clear: not a competition, but a celebration. It is a non-competitive event that welcomes folk dance groups, choirs, instrumental ensembles, majorettes, and even more contemporary styles such as jazz, hip hop, and classical ballet. Each ensemble presents its own program, in a spirit based on fun, tolerance, and mutual respect.

On the Stage of Piazza Aurora

Performances take place on the open-air stage in Piazza Aurora, in the heart of Jesolo's shore. Parades, concerts, and gala moments animate the festival days, offering the public—tourists and residents alike—a kaleidoscope of costumes, music, and dances from every continent.

Culture and Folklore on the Veneto Coast

For Jesolo, 'The Beaches of Italy' is much more than a show: it is an opening event for the season that brings the richness of international folklore to the Venetian coast, transforming the seaside resort into a world stage.
