Festival of the Pumpkin and its Ferrarese IGP Cappellaccio – Autumn Flavours

The 2025 autumn edition of the Festival of the Pumpkin and its Ferrarese IGP Cappellaccio was held in San Carlo di Terre del Reno, in the province of Ferrara, from October 31 to November 2, 2025, at the covered and heated stand of the Sports Field.

The Autumn Flavours menu highlighted truffles with IGP pumpkin cappellacci with truffle, pumpkin tortino with herbs and truffle, and pumpkin and porcini crepes. Among other offerings were the "heart's" cappellaccio with walnuts and Marsala, pumpkin spätzle, lasagne, pumpkin piadina and pinzini, and homemade desserts like pumpkin pie and zuppa inglese. The stand, open every evening from 7:00 PM and Sunday lunch, confirmed the festival as one of the most delicious autumn events in the Ferrarese area.
