Every year, around November 30th (the liturgical day of Saint Andrew the Apostle), the municipality of Zelo Buon Persico, in the province of Lodi, celebrates its patron saint with a festival that combines religious and popular dimensions. It is one of the most cherished moments of the year for the community, jointly organized by the Parish of Saint Andrew the Apostle, the Municipality, and local associations.
Between faith and street party
The schedule spans several days: evening meetings and celebrations in the church precede the main Sunday, when the Solemn Mass is celebrated, followed by the procession with the statue of the patron saint, accompanied by the town's brass band. In Piazza Italia, the civic part of the festival comes alive: a market and stalls by hobbyists and artists, chestnuts and mulled wine, live music, face painting, and entertainment for the little ones. There are also convivial moments in the parish hall and at the senior center, with lunches and bingo games.

The Festival of Saint Andrew is also an occasion for participation that involves local entities, from the municipal library with its autumn-themed readings to the students of the Comprehensive Institute with dedicated initiatives. Based on recent editions, the festival takes place over several days around November 30th, with religious celebrations in the church, the main Sunday dedicated to the solemn Mass and procession, and the street festival with a market, food, and entertainment.

Based on the established structure of recent editions, the schedule includes:
