The Festival of Our Lady of the Rosary is the grand village festival of Pagazzano, in the province of Bergamo, set against the backdrop of one of the most fascinating monuments in the lower Bergamo area: the Visconti Castle. This imposing medieval fortress, perfectly preserved with its moat, provides a suggestive setting for the festival, combining popular celebration with the charm of history.

Cuisine, tombola, and tradition

The festival offers traditional Bergamo cuisine, with typical dishes and local specialties, and the unmissable evening tombola games, a moment of fun and gathering for the whole community. The Castle also hosts activities by the Peasant Civilization Group, which re-enacts the trades and life of the Lombard agricultural world of the past, with demonstrations and displays that tell the story of the village's farming roots.

Organized with the involvement of the Peasant Civilization Group Onlus and under the patronage of the Municipality of Pagazzano, the event is an occasion for meeting that brings together the inhabitants of the village and visitors, while also enhancing the historical heritage of the Visconti Castle in the heart of the Bergamo plain.
