The festival of the Cremasco village
The Pianengo Festival is the popular celebration of Pianengo, a small municipality in the Cremasco area, province of Cremona. It takes place in the first days of October and lasts for three days, enlivening the Oratory, the Church Square, and Via Papa Giovanni XXIII. It is organized by the Festival Committee in collaboration with the Municipality and local associations.
Cremona tortelli take center stage
Cuisine is the heart of the festival, with the famous Cremona tortelli as the main attraction, also available for takeaway, alongside foiolo (tripe) and traditional dishes. The tortelli meals become collective moments that fill the evenings and Sunday lunches.
Entertainment for all ages
The program blends entertainment and culture: a fashion show, circus performances and theatre for children, falconry, bocce games, cycling tours, artistic and karate exhibitions, and musical evenings with themed DJ sets. There is also a Luna Park with its attractions and numerous commercial stalls that liven up the town center.
Community and citizenship
A distinctive feature of the Pianengo Festival is the ceremony of awarding scholarships and a copy of the Constitution to the town's eighteen-year-olds, a sign of a celebration that remains firmly linked to civil and community life. An event that tells the identity of the Cremasco region, through gastronomy, tradition, and a sense of belonging.

The 2026 edition of the Pianengo Festival is expected in the first days of October, organized by the Festival Committee with the Municipality and local associations. The detailed program has not yet been published.
As in recent editions, three days are expected with Cremona tortelli as the highlight, entertainment for all ages, bocce games, musical evenings, a Luna Park, and stalls in the town center.
