The Poncia festival
The Festival of Our Lady of Health is the summer festival of the hamlet of Poncia, in Curtarolo, in the province of Padua, linked to the parish of Santa Maria di Non. It takes place in August around the small oratory church, of which the community of Poncia is particularly proud.
Devotion and procession
The religious dimension marks the evenings: the rosary and Holy Mass accompany the first days of the festival, while the most anticipated moment is the solemn Saturday evening procession in honor of the Blessed Virgin of Health.
Food stand and entertainment
After moments of prayer, the evenings continue with the opening of the food stand, dance evenings, games for the little ones, and the drawing of lottery prizes at the end of each day. Organized by the parish committee together with the Pro Loco, the festival is a point of reference for the community of Poncia and Curtarolo.
Festival Madonna della Salute - Poncia — edition 2026
The 2026 Madonna della Salute Festival in Poncia is scheduled from August 20th to 25th at the oratory in the hamlet of Poncia, Curtarolo. The evenings are marked by religious observances: a rosary on Thursday evening, Holy Mass at 9:00 AM on Friday and Monday, and at 6:30 PM on Sunday and Tuesday. On Saturday at 6:30 PM, Mass is followed by a solemn procession in honor of the Madonna della Salute.
Each evening, the food stand opens—featuring a special fish menu on Thursday—accompanied by live music and a funfair for children. The final evening concludes with the raffle drawing and risotto for all attendees.
