The Poncia festival
The Festival of Our Lady of Health is the summer festival of the hamlet of Poncia, in Curtarolo, in the province of Padua, linked to the parish of Santa Maria di Non. It takes place in August around the small oratory church, of which the community of Poncia is particularly proud.
Devotion and procession
The religious dimension marks the evenings: the rosary and Holy Mass accompany the first days of the festival, while the most anticipated moment is the solemn Saturday evening procession in honor of the Blessed Virgin of Health.
Food stand and entertainment
After moments of prayer, the evenings continue with the opening of the food stand, dance evenings, games for the little ones, and the drawing of lottery prizes at the end of each day. Organized by the parish committee together with the Pro Loco, the festival is a point of reference for the community of Poncia and Curtarolo.
Festival Madonna della Salute - Poncia — edition 2026
The Festival of Our Lady of Health of Poncia 2026 is scheduled from August 21 to 25 at the oratory of the hamlet of Poncia, in Curtarolo. The evenings are marked by religious moments — rosary and Holy Mass from Friday to Sunday, rosary only on Monday and Tuesday — with the solemn procession in honor of Our Lady of Health on Saturday evening. This is followed by the opening of the food stand, dance evenings, children's games, and the lottery drawing. Organized by the parish committee and the Pro Loco.
