Identity on the Move
The Festival (Non) Binario is a new event by the Teatro Binario 7 in Monza, the capital of Brianza, dedicated to the theme of identities in motion. For four days, the city's theatre becomes a crossroads of different languages – theatre, music, performance, drag art, burlesque, and public talks – which merge into a mosaic capable of speaking about freedom, belonging, and transformation.
A Mosaic of Languages
Conceived by Romina Contiero and Alberto Viscardi, the festival features shows, DJ sets, performative readings, and moments of discussion. The opening is entrusted to an exceptional guest, Vladimir Luxuria, and in the following days, choirs, theatrical performances, and symbolic ceremonies will take place. It is a program that blends lightness and depth, entertainment and commitment, in line with Binario 7's vocation to be an open and inclusive cultural space.
A New Space for Monza
With this first edition, Teatro Binario 7 enriches the cultural offerings of Monza and Brianza with a festival that focuses on diversity and dialogue. The choice of a theatre as the venue for the event underscores the stage's role as a place for collective meeting and reflection. Festival (Non) Binario — edition 2026
The first edition of the Festival (Non) Binario takes place from May 14th to 17th, 2026 at Teatro Binario 7 in Monza, curated by the theatre based on an idea by Romina Contiero and Alberto Viscardi. Four days of shows, DJ sets, performative readings, and public talks that intertwine theatre, music, and performance to explore freedom, belonging, and transformation.

- Thursday, May 14th, 8:45 PM — Opening with "Stasera ve le canto", by and with Vladimir Luxuria
- Friday, May 15th, 8:00 PM (Sala Picasso) — Checcoro, LGBT choir of Milan; 9:00 PM (Sala Chaplin) — "Scende giù per Toledo" by Giuseppe Patroni Griffi
- Saturday, May 16th, 7:30 PM (Sala Picasso) — Ceremony for the "Leone Arcobaleno 2026" award, organized by the BOA association

Where
The festival takes place at Teatro Binario 7, in via Turati 8 in Monza, a short walk from the train station. Monza is easily reachable by train from Milan (regional and suburban lines) and by car from the A4 and A52 Tangenziale Nord motorways.
