The Festival Milano Musica is the major Milanese event dedicated to contemporary music. The 35th edition takes place from April 26 to June 6, 2026 in Milan (Comune di Milano, Lombardy), under the title 'Creative Distances'. Promoted by the Associazione Milano Musica, the festival is one of the most important of its kind in Italy and collaborates regularly with the Teatro alla Scala.
Tribute to Feldman and Kurtág
The 2026 edition celebrates two protagonists of the 20th century born in 1926 and linked to the texts of Samuel Beckett: Morton Feldman and György Kurtág. The program features 8 world premieres and 13 Italian premieres, the result of international commissions and co-commissions involving Ircam-Centre Pompidou in Paris, the Staatskapelle Dresden, and Tokyo Bunka Kaikan.
