Festival della Salsiccia a Catena di Cancellara

On September 6 and 7, 2025, Cancellara celebrated the fifteenth edition of its Festival della Salsiccia a Catena. As highlighted by Mayor Francesco Genzano, the event offered activities, workshops, gastronomic tours, and musical events, confirming itself as one of the most anticipated food and wine events of the Lucanian late summer.

The protagonist was the chain sausage, produced with the traditional braiding technique passed down from mother to daughter and included in the national list of Traditional Agri-food Products, a true symbol of the village's identity.
