Wine at the heart of the village
The Festival del Vino di Lazzate is one of the most popular food and wine events in Brianza. Born and raised in the heart of the historic village of Lazzate, a municipality in the province of Monza and Brianza, it is organized by the Associazione Borgo in Festa, the same organization that animates the town with the Sagra della Patata (Potato Festival) and Vacanze nel Borgo (Holidays in the Village).
Wineries, labels, and tastings
The festival features over 160 labels from more than eighty wineries, distributed in about thirty tasting booths along the streets and squares of the village. Alongside the tastings, a large piazza restaurant with approximately 650 seats serves dinners and lunches with table service, designed to avoid queues at the tills.
Dinner with the Producer
Among the most distinctive offerings is the Cena con il Produttore (Dinner with the Producer): a limited number of seats per evening, with a menu accompanied by a guided tasting narrated directly by the winemaker. Every evening, the village also hosts a live concert, while the restaurant area and tasting booths remain open until late.

How to get there
Lazzate is located in western upper Brianza, near the border with the province of Varese. By car, it can be reached from the Pedemontana highway and the SS Varesina road; the nearest train station is on the Saronno-Como line.
