Sixties garage, beat and rock'n'roll at Parco Colonie Padane
Festival Beat is the most important Italian gathering dedicated to beat music, garage rock, and the sounds of the Sixties. After a long history in Salsomaggiore Terme, from 2026 the event will move to Cremona, in the larger space of Parco delle Colonie Padane, a green area of about 60,000 mยฒ immersed in the city's river landscape.
The festival offers a packed program of live concerts with cult bands from all over the world, alongside strictly vinyl DJ sets, record and antique markets, vintage car and motorcycle exhibitions, and all the imagery of vintage culture. It is an event that has brought together enthusiasts, collectors, and sixties sound nostalgics for decades, in a climate of fun and participatory celebration.
Among the most beloved moments of the event are the legendary pool party, the DJ set on a boat along the Po River, and the historic fun races that are part of the festival's ritual. The new venue in Cremona, larger and equipped with green spaces and play areas, brings the event back to a format close to its origins, with more space for concerts, activities, and the public.
The arrival of Festival Beat in Cremona, in Lombardy, enriches the summer landscape of the Province of Cremona with an internationally renowned event capable of attracting enthusiasts from all over Europe. A journey back in time through music, fashion, and retro atmospheres, on the banks of the Po River.
The 32nd edition of Festival Beat takes place from June 24 to 28, 2026, marking the historic move of the event to Cremona, at Parco delle Colonie Padane, after many years in Salsomaggiore Terme. The new venue, larger and surrounded by greenery, brings the festival back to a format close to its origins.
The lineup brings together cult bands from the international garage, beat, and rock'n'roll scene: announced names include The Mummies (USA, only European date), Allah-Las (USA), Jon Spencer (USA), Wild Billy Childish & CTMF (UK), Reverend Beat-Man & Milan Slick (Switzerland), Schizophonics (USA), Os Esthilaรงos (Brazil), The Midnight Kings (Italy), and many more. The festival's rituals also return: the legendary pool party, the new DJ set on a boat, and the historic fun race.
