Salto di Avegno and Our Lady of Health

In the hinterland of Genoa, behind the Golfo Paradiso, the Municipality of Avegno (Province of Genoa) and particularly the hamlet of Salto celebrate the Festa di Nostra Signora della Salute every first Sunday of August. It is a deeply felt event of Marian devotion for the community of the hamlet, organized by the parish of Sant'Antonio Abate.
