The Madonna delle Grazie is the patroness of Nemoli, a village in the Province of Potenza nestled in the green Lagonegrese area. Her festival, which is renewed every year on July 1st and 2nd, is the most important religious event for the Nemoli community, an occasion that intertwines popular devotion, tradition, and identity.

The 15th-century statue and the procession

The heart of the festival is the procession of the 15th-century statue of the Virgin, carried on shoulders through the streets of the historic center.
