Festa Farina Forca – Magliano Cavatiello Festival

From July 31st to August 6th, 2025, the Festa Farina Forca – Magliano Cavatiello Festival celebrated its twentieth edition in Magliano Nuovo, a hamlet of Magliano Vetere, in the province of Salerno.

In 2025, the absolute star was once again the cavatiello, the famous pasta made by hand according to the local recipe, offered with fresh tomato and basil sauce or with savory mutton ragù. The menu revisited the usual journey through Cilento cuisine: artisanal cured meats and cheeses, grilled sausage and trout, «mulignane 'mbuttunate», turnip greens and potatoes, zeppole, struffoli, cannoli, and other homemade delights.

Every night, the village came alive with performances, folk music, theater, and historical re-enactments, with Piazzetta Belvedere as the heart of the celebration. The organization was handled by the Manlium Association, which has promoted the event since 2004.
