Saint Andrew, patron saint and namesake of the village

The Feast of Saint Andrew is the most defining recurrence of Cazzano Sant'Andrea, a small municipality in Val Gandino in the Province of Bergamo. The village owes its very name to the patron saint, Saint Andrew the Apostle, celebrated on November 30th, the saint's liturgical date. A very strong bond, that between the village and its patron saint, is renewed every year with the festival.
