The Festa di San Vigilio is the patronal festival of Pove del Grappa, a municipality in the Vicenza pre-Alps at the foot of the Grappa Massif, in the province of Vicenza. Dedicated to the patron saint San Vigilio, celebrated on June 26th, the festival is organised by the Pro Loco Pove del Grappa and takes place in the charming setting of the Parco delle Rose.
From Mass to a party for children
The day begins with the solemn Mass in honour of the patron saint. In the afternoon, the festival becomes family-oriented, with baby dance and free bouncy castles animating the park and welcoming the little ones, in a cheerful atmosphere designed for families from the town and surrounding areas.
Music and gastronomy until the evening
From 8:00 PM, the musical performance begins, with a repertoire dedicated to the greatest hits of the '60s, '70s, and '80s that gets all generations dancing and singing. The food stand, open throughout the day, offers traditional dishes, completing a festival that combines devotion, conviviality, and community spirit at the foot of Monte Grappa.
