Historic organs play again
The Festival Organistico del Pedemonte e del Canal di Brenta is a multi-municipal event dedicated to the enhancement and preservation of the historic organs housed in the churches of the territory between Bassanese, the foothills of Grappa, and the Canal di Brenta. Among the festival's stops is Borso del Grappa, a municipality at the foot of Monte Grappa in the province of Treviso.
Two concerts in Borso del Grappa
The concerts in Borso del Grappa are held in two prestigious locations: the Church of San Severo in the hamlet of Semonzo del Grappa and the Church of Sant'Eulalia. Here, the ancient organs, restored and preserved as community heritage, resonate again with sacred, baroque, and classical repertoire, often accompanied by other instruments and voices in chamber ensembles.
A regional circuit
The festival is promoted by the Associazione Amici degli Archivi di Vicenza e Bassano del Grappa in collaboration with Asolo Musica - Veneto Musica, and is part of the regional organ circuit "Cantantibus Organis". An opportunity to rediscover, through music, the organ and religious heritage of the Veneto foothills.
Festival Organistico — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Festival Organistico del Pedemonte e del Canal di Brenta includes two events in Borso del Grappa: on September 12th in the Church of San Severo in Semonzo del Grappa and on October 17th in the Church of Sant'Eulalia. The historic organs of the two churches once again take centre stage in evenings dedicated to organ repertoire, within the regional circuit "Cantantibus Organis".
