Isolabona, a small village in the Val Nervia in the hinterland of Imperia, in Liguria, cherishes one of its most beloved symbols in the central square: a medieval fountain, with an octagonal stone basin and a central column topped by a marble basin decorated with masks from which water flows, dating back to 1486. It is around this monument that the Festa della Fontana revolves.
