A summer tradition over twenty years old

For over twenty years, the Festa dell'Oca in Morsano al Tagliamento has lit up August evenings, becoming one of the most beloved events in the Bassa pordenonese. The festival, organized by the Pro Loco Morsano al Tagliamento in the heart of the town, is part of the San Rocco Celebrations, the saint celebrated on August 16th, and combines popular devotion, gastronomy, and community celebration in one large outdoor event.

Goose, the queen of the table

The absolute star is goose, cooked in all its most delicious variations: mixed goose cold cuts, goose ragu crostini, goose ragu gnocchi, goose ragu pie, and the unmissable barbecued meats for those who love grilled cuisine. A menu that tells the story of Friulian peasant culture, where goose has always been a precious resource of the farmhouse. Accompanying the dishes are local wines and a kiosk with a wine bar, craft beers, and cocktails.

Music, dancing, and fun every evening

Each evening offers a rich and varied musical program: bands and DJs get people dancing to the tunes of the '60s, '70s, '80s, and '90s, with Latin music and live orchestras for ballroom dancing enthusiasts. There's also a large charity raffle and entertainment for children, making the festival a gathering occasion for all ages.
