The Festa dell'AVIS in Nuvolera, in the province of Brescia, is the summer festival with which the local section of the Italian Association of Voluntary Blood Donors celebrates the gift and its donors. In 2026, the event will reach its 40th edition, a sign of continuity that reflects the association's deep roots in the town's fabric.
Three days of community celebration
For an entire weekend, from Friday to Sunday, the festival grounds come alive with food stalls, musical evenings, and convivial moments open to everyone. It is a popular festival in the truest sense: an opportunity for families to gather, but also a platform for AVIS's message about the importance of blood donation, a simple and free gesture that saves lives.
A regular fixture of the Nuvolera summer
Along with other local festivals that liven up Nuvolera throughout the year, the Festa dell'AVIS is one of the most cherished events in the local summer calendar. From 10 to 12 July 2026, Nuvolera hosts the 40th Festa dell'AVIS, a special 40th-anniversary edition. For three days, the local blood donor section offers festive evenings with local cuisine, music, and convivial moments open to families and visitors.
