The Ferragosto festival in Teolo
The Festa del Villeggiante is the most anticipated summer event in Teolo, a municipality in the Euganean Hills in the province of Padua. Created to welcome the many holidaymakers who choose the Euganean Hills for their summer vacation, the festival enlivens the central Piazza Perlasca, in the main town, for ten evenings around Ferragosto.
Food, Pizzeria, and Dancing
The heart of the event is the food stand, alongside the pizzeria, open every evening from 8:00 PM. But the real star is the dancing: every evening a different live orchestra gets the square dancing to the rhythm of ballroom, Latin dance, and music from the 70s, 80s, and 90s, in a deeply felt tradition of village festivals.
A Community Festival
Organised by Pro Loco Teolo, the Festa del Villeggiante brings together residents and tourists in an atmosphere of joy and socialising that characterises the summer in the Euganean Hills. The musical evenings, good food, and convivial atmosphere make it one of the most popular events in the Teolo summer calendar and the entire Euganean area.
Festa del Villeggiante — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Festa del Villeggiante returns to Piazza Perlasca in Teolo from August 8th to 16th, with ten evenings of festivities. Every evening, the food stand and pizzeria open from 8:00 PM, while the square dances to the rhythm of the live orchestras — ballroom, Latin dance, music from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Organised by Pro Loco Teolo.
Programme Festa del Villeggiante 2026
From August 8th to 16th, 2026 — Piazza Perlasca, Teolo
Every evening, food stand and pizzeria from 8:00 PM, with live music and dancing. Orchestra schedule:
- Saturday 8th — Opening music evening
- Sunday 9th — Dance orchestra
- Subsequent evenings (until August 16th) feature a different orchestra each night, with repertoires of ballroom, Latin dance, and music from the 70s, 80s, and 90s
