Calici di Stelle is the summer event that, on the night of San Lorenzo (August 10th), enlivens the historic center of Barbarano, in the municipality of Barbarano Mossano (province of Vicenza). The event is part of the national calendar of the Movimento Turismo del Vino (Wine Tourism Movement), and in Barbarano, it takes on the character of one of the most magical summer nights in the Colli Berici.
The Wineries of Colli Berici in the Square
The heart of the festival is the local wineries that animate the village squares—Piazza Roma, Piazzetta Godi, and Piazzetta Calcalusso—with tastings of their wines. Among the participating realities are Cantina Ongaresca, Cantina Mattiello, Nani Vini, Adagio Vini, Ca' Basso, Cantina Colli Berici, Tenuta Monte San Giorgio, and many other labels from the Colli Berici. The wine is sampled by the glass, purchased at the ticket points.
Gastronomy, Music, and Atmosphere
Alongside the wine, the food areas offer typical dishes and local specialties paired with the best labels, while background music accompanies the evening. Strolling through the illuminated squares of the historic center, glass in hand and looking up at the shooting stars, is the essence of this festival that celebrates the connection between Barbarano Mossano, wine, and the hilly landscape of the Berici Hills.
Calici di Stelle — edition 2026
As tradition dictates, Calici di Stelle is linked to the night of San Lorenzo: the 2026 edition is anticipated around August 10th in the historic center of Barbarano, in Barbarano Mossano. The wineries of the Colli Berici will once again animate Piazza Roma and the small squares of the village with by-the-glass tastings, food areas, and music. The official confirmation of the date and the list of participating wineries will be published by the Pro Loco and the Colli Berici portal in the preceding weeks.

How to get there
Barbarano Mossano is reached by car from the SP247 Riviera Berica, south of Vicenza. The event takes place in the historic center of Barbarano, around Piazza Roma.
Tastings
