The Sagra di Sant'Antonio a Timonchio is the popular festival of the hamlet of Timonchio, in Santorso, province of Vicenza, in the Alto Vicentino region at the foot of Monte Summano. It takes place in mid-June around the small church of Sant'Antonio al Timonchio, on the occasion of the saint's feast day (June 13th).
Devotion, music, and shows
The sagra combines religious events with the village festival: alongside moments of devotion, there are evenings of music and shows, a charity raffle, and many opportunities for gathering. In recent years, the festival has also managed to involve younger people, with dedicated evenings like the Shambles Party animating the schedule.
The food stand
The heart of the sagra is the food stand, open every evening from 7:00 PM, where you can enjoy traditional Venetian dishes in good company. With dancing, music, and good food, the Sagra di Timonchio is a genuine opportunity to experience the festive spirit of the towns in the Alto Vicentino.
