Edition 2025 — Festa del Formai Schiz

In 2025, the Festa del Formai Schiz enlivened Celarda di Feltre in August, with demonstrations of the traditional production of schiz cheese, butter, and ricotta in the ancient casel. Food stands and festive moments celebrated an identity product of the Feltrino region, in an event organized by APS Casel de Celarda.

The 2025 edition of the Festa del Formai Schiz brought the art of producing schiz cheese back to Celarda, a hamlet of Feltre. In the ancient casel, the APS Casel de Celarda showcased the stages of milk processing, from the production of schiz cheese to that of butter and ricotta, according to traditional methods. Food stands and convivial moments involved the community and visitors, in a festival that preserves the rural memory of the Feltrino region, in the province of Belluno.
