The June festival of Nuvolera dedicated to hunting tradition and good food
The Festa del Cacciatore in Nuvolera, in the province of Brescia, is the early summer festival that recalls the long hunting tradition of the pre-Alpine area. Organised by hunters and volunteers from the village, it enlivens the festival grounds for three days with food stalls, musical evenings, and convivial moments.
The heart of the event is the table: traditional Brescian dishes and game specialties are the stars of the evenings, along with typical local preparations. A rustic and generous cuisine that tells of the historical bond between the Nuvolera community and the surrounding hilly and wooded environment.
Alongside the gastronomy, the festival offers evenings of music and entertainment under the stars, in a convivial atmosphere open to all. Together with the AVIS festival in July and other village festivals, the Festa del Cacciatore is one of the events that mark the summer in Nuvolera, at the foot of the Valle Sabbia.
From 12 to 14 June 2026, Nuvolera hosts the Festa del Cacciatore, the early summer festival dedicated to hunting tradition and good food. For three evenings, the food stalls will offer game-based dishes and Brescian culinary specialties, accompanied by music and entertainment.
The detailed program will be released by the organisers in the weeks preceding the event. The tried-and-tested format alternates dinner, music, and convivial moments open to families and visitors.
