The Sagra del Perdon d'Assisi, popularly known as 'Sagra dei Frati', is the festival that animates the hamlet of San Giacomo di Monselice, on the Euganean Hills in the province of Padua, between July and August. It takes place in the scenic setting of the Cloister of San Giacomo, in Via San Giacomo 17.
Gastronomy and solidarity
The heart of the festival is the food stall, open in the evening from 7:30 PM, with fish specialties (paella is one of the most anticipated events, upon reservation). There is also a charity raffle, bouncy castles for the little ones, and various musical evenings. Part of the proceeds are donated to the Valnogaredo Family Home, which assists families and children in need.
